Perfect Game came out with their Preseason All American list and our very own Justin Ruble of Tomball Memorial is on it. He has worked hard the past year to become one of the top talents in the country and this recognition is a testament to that. He will be on our 2018 Heat Silver roster as one of our top arms and will play first base for us throughout the summer. He is uncommitted at the moment but wont be for long.
It's not easy to hide when you're 6' 6" and 260 lbs. But if you're Jonathan Freemyer and you just finished a two sport college career at Northwestern Oklahoma State by being named Great American Conference 2014 Player of the Year in baseball, Northwestern's Senior Male Athlete of the Year 2013-2014, and the 1st player in GAC history to earn 1st Team All-Conference in two sports (basketball 2012-2013 and baseball 2014) who's trying to hide. A criminal justice major who's working on his masters degree, I'd say Jonathan has taken full advantage of his college opportunities. When you look up the word "student athlete" Jonathan's picture should be there. This is proof that you don't have to attend a prestigious D1 college to have a succesful college experience. View the power point to see a recap of Jonathan's amazing college career.
