Newest Recruit Leads To Houston Heat's First Venture Into Select Softball
On Monday September 21, 2009 the Houston Heat welcomed it's first ever softball recruit, Kendal Faye Krailo, Class of 2028. Kendal arrived at 10:49 am and at the "weigh in" she tipped the scales at a respectable 7lbs. 9oz. Her pre-delivery workouts paying off as there were many family members in attendance to witness the kids first appearance in the Big Leagues. Kendal's Mom, Megan, is doing fabulous and Dad, Karl, is on cloud nine. Grandparents, Fran and Ricky Krailo are overjoyed about their first grandchild.
The rumor is that they named her Kendal Faye so her initials would be K.F. Just like Karl's beloved high school, Klein Forest. The good news is that the planning and execution of the birth date was spot on as it landed right between the summer and fall baseball seasons.
Congratulations to Megan, Karl, Fran and Ricky from the Houston Heat family.
