Former Heat player, 2004 WWBA Pitching MVP and MLB Draft 1st Round pick Kyle Drabek has overcome some obstacles including Tommy John surgery, but at the 2009 Futures Game he proved why he's one of the top arms in the Minor Leagues.
Click on Kyle's picture and see why Jerry Crasnick, from ESPN.com, thinks the future is bright and why Kyle just might be the 2nd generation of Drabek's to make it to the Major Leagues.
Of the 8 Houston area players named to the 2009 Louisville Slugger All American Team, 5 are Houston Heat players.
