Houston Heat Baseball

Pinch me, I must be dreaming. That's what Heat alumnus and current Rice Owl Anthony Rendon must be thinking as he hauls in yet another award for his 2009 breakout season. On Wednesday Anthony was named Collegiate Baseball's 2009 Louisville Slugger National Freshman of the Year. He becomes the first Owl to be named Freshman of the Year since Heat alumnus Joe Savery won the award in 2005.
